Community Services Manager, Contra Costa Clerk-Recorder-Elections Department
Paul Burgarino currently oversees external communications and governmental relations for the Contra Costa Clerk-Recorder-Elections Department and acts as the department’s public information officer. He also oversees the department’s civic engagement program, which utilizes innovative ways to facilitate community participation. Before joining the department in 2014, Mr. Burgarino worked as a newspaper reporter with Bay Area News Group covering municipal issues. He received his bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Gonzaga University.
