Deputy Director, League of Women Voters of California
Dora Rose, a civil rights litigator, policy advocate, and voting rights activist for over twenty-five years, is the Deputy Director for the League of Women Voters of California. On advocacy, she drives impact, pursuant to League principles, through legislation and ballot measures. On the education side, she works to cultivate an informed, empowered, and more representative electorate. Her experience includes holding leadership positions as General Counsel and Director of Voter Protection for the Ohio Democratic Party, with the Voting Rights Institute, the Center for Election Integrity at Cleveland State University, and as a cooperating attorney with the ACLU of California.
