Federal and state election laws protect the rights of limited English proficient voters for covered languages. At the state level California provides voter information in ten languages – English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Tagalog, Thai and Vietnamese. Additional languages may be covered at the county level. This section is a collection of resources developed by FoCE and its partners to provide best practices for language access.
